At SoCal FCA Baseball, we are committed to providing young athletes with an enriching baseball camp experience that emphasizes skill development, teamwork, and spiritual growth as they learn about their game and deepen their faith. We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Videographer/Social Media Manager to join our team and help us capture and share the excitement of our camps with future campers, leaders and donors.

Position Overview:

The Baseball Camp Videographer/Social Media Manager will be responsible for creating engaging video content that showcases camp activities and highlights. This role also involves managing our social media presence to promote the camp, engage with our community, and inspire young athletes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Video Production: Capture high-quality video footage during camp sessions, practices, live at-bats, and team events. Focus on action shots, testimonials, and key moments that reflect the camp  and summer experience.

  • Editing and Post-Production: Edit video content to create compelling highlight reels, promotional videos, and social media clips. Ensure all content aligns with our brand identity and mission. Must be able to edit and produce under a professional timeline.

  • Social Media Management: Develop and implement a social media strategy to promote the camp across platforms such as Instagram, Vimeo and Youtube. Create engaging posts and stories that resonate with our audience.

  • Content Scheduling: Plan and schedule regular content postings to maintain an active online presence. Monitor trends and adapt content accordingly to maximize engagement.

  • Community Engagement: Interact with campers, parents, and followers on social media. Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner to foster a sense of community.

  • Campaign Development: Create and execute social media campaigns to highlight camp activities, promote upcoming sessions, and celebrate camper achievements.

  • Analytics Reporting: Monitor and analyze social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns. Provide regular reports on engagement, reach, and growth, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with camp leadership to understand key moments to capture and ensure alignment with camp goals and messaging.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in videography and video editing (portfolio required).

- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).

- Strong understanding of social media platforms and content trends.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with our target audiences.

- Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling through video.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during camp sessions.

- Familiarity with photography is a plus, but not required.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.

- Must be able to work in a variety of indoor and outdoor settings.
