Sports Ministry Training

We are looking to hire twenty-four Shepherds for the summer to be trained in sports ministry, lead youth to Christ and teach the game of baseball. With 800-1,000 youth attending our summer camp program, this is a great first step for many who are pursuing a career in coaching or in sports ministry.

THis is a paid internship

Our base salary for the summer is $1,500 with an opportunity to raise up to $4,000. We ask our Shepherds to raise a minimum of $1,000 to cover the costs of our pre-summer trip to Big Bear, food and camp gear with 80% of any additional funds raised will be paid back as a stipend.

Salary Range: $1,500-$4,700 (over two months)

Personal Baseball Development

We understand that you may still be playing at your university and have athletic goals you are looking to achieve. With access to our newly renovated facility, summer-long gym memberships and weekly organized team workouts, we plan to give our Shepherds every resource to keep developing their game.

DEEP Spiritual GROWTH

Shepherd interns will be placed in a unique environment where they will have share the opportunity to create strong spiritual bonds with like-minded brothers. The Shepherds will challenge each other daily as they dig into God’s word, share testimony, and sharpen each other through deep spiritual growth.

A Balanced schedule

With the goal of creating opportunities for spiritual growth and physical recovery, we have chosen to have no scheduled events on Sundays. We will also facilitate trips to Big Bear Lake, local service opportunities and team outings to Huntington Beach, Dodgers/Angels Stadium and more.
