Thousand Pines Team Retreat

In Mark’s Gospel, before feeding the five thousand, Jesus models the practice of retreating to a quiet place with his disciples to prepare for what is ahead. Fittingly, the Shepherds kick off their summer experience by heading out to Crestline to spend some time growing closer as a team and prepare them what is to come.

Some of the past activities have included:

  • Testimony Training

  • Times of Personal Reflection and Bible Study

  • Archery/High Ropes Challenge

  • Hiking

As we come together from all corners of the United States (and beyond!), it is crucial for us to foster stronger bonds as a team before embarking on our two-month ministry.

Amidst the whirlwind of demands and distractions, carving out time for quiet reflection and deepening our understanding of the scriptures is crucial for nurturing our spiritual growth.
