About Us:
With SoCal FCA Baseball Camps, we are dedicated to providing an exceptional baseball camp experience for young athletes. Our camps focus on skill development, gospel outreach, and creating lasting memories. We’re looking for two (2) creative and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Baseball Camp Photographer/Social Media Manager.
Position Overview:
Our Photographers/Social Media Managers will be responsible for capturing the excitement of our baseball camps through photography and effectively managing our social media presence. This role will involve taking high-quality action shots, candid photos of campers, shepherds and leadership, and creating engaging content to share across our social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Photography: Capture high-quality images during camp sessions, practices, games, and events. Focus on action shots, group photos, and candid moments that showcase the campers’ experiences.
Content Creation: Edit and curate photos for use on our website, marketing materials, and social media. Ensure that all content aligns with our brand identity and values.
Social Media Management: Develop and implement a social media strategy to promote the camp. Manage our presence on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, including regular posting and engagement with our audience.
Engagement: Interact with campers, parents, and followers on social media to foster a sense of community. Respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.
Campaign Development: Create and execute social media campaigns that highlight camp activities, promote upcoming events, and showcase camper achievements.
Analytics Reporting: Monitor social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns. Provide regular reports on engagement, reach, and growth, and adjust strategies as needed.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with camp staff to understand key moments to capture and ensure alignment with camp goals and messaging. Able to collaborate with our other creative media team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in photography, preferably in sports or youth programs.
- Proficiency in photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop).
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with our target audiences.
- Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling through imagery.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during camp sessions.
- Familiarity with video creation/editing is a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
- Must be able to work in a variety of indoor and outdoor settings.
