Our mobile and online camp store is an integral part of this experience, offering a variety of merchandise that enhances our campers' journey and promotes the overall look and feel of our camp environment.

Position Overview:   

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Merchandise Manager to oversee our mobile baseball camp store. This role involves managing inventory, sales, and merchandising strategies to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our campers and their families. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Jesus, baseball, strong organizational skills, and a willingness to learn and use Shopify for our e-commerce platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management:  Oversee the selection, procurement, and inventory of merchandise for the camp store. Ensure that popular items are well-stocked and manage inventory transitions.

  • E-Commerce Management:  Familiarize yourself with Shopify to manage online sales, including product listings, order fulfillment, and customer service inquiries.

  • Sales Strategy:  Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue. Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet sales goals.

  • Customer Engagement:  Create an inviting and professional shopping atmosphere for campers and their families. Engage with customers to provide product knowledge and enhance their overall experience.

  • Merchandising:  Work with our creative team to design and implement attractive visual merchandising displays that highlight key products and promote seasonal items.

  • Marketing Support:  Collaborate with the creative media team to develop promotional materials and social media campaigns to drive sales and enhance brand visibility.

  • Financial Oversight:  Maintain accurate records of sales, expenses, and inventory levels. Prepare regular reports on sales performance and inventory turnover.

  • Team Collaboration:  Work closely with camp staff to understand campers' needs and preferences, ensuring that the merchandise aligns with our brand and mission.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in retail management, merchandising, or a related field.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Passion for baseball and understanding of the baseball community is a plus.

- Familiarity with Shopify or a willingness to learn is required.

- Basic understanding of e-commerce best practices and sales analytics is a plus.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry at least 25 pounds.

  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.

  • Must be able to work in a variety of indoor and outdoor settings.
